Cleveland Clinic is celebrating its 25th anniversary and what better way to commemorate this occasion than with a comprehensive educational experience for healthcare professionals that diagnose and treat valve disease. The 25th Valve Disease, Structural Interventions and Diastology Summit offers the latest updates and techniques for imaging and intervention for the mitral, aortic, and tricuspid valves. The conference features a renowned faculty that provides an in-depth review of the newest strategies and techniques.
The program consists of 14 sessions that focus on Valve Disease, Structural Interventions, Diastology, and more. Each session includes an expert speaker, case studies, discussions, and Q&A sessions. The summit is designed to offer a diverse range of topics that broadly cover all aspects of valve disease management.
The conference begins with an intense focus on the mitral valve. The keynote speaker for this session is Paul A. Grayburn, MD who will share his insights on the Mitral Valve: Pathology-Clinical Correlation. This session will also discuss the newest techniques for measuring mitral regurgitation and the guidelines for treatment, as well as technological advancements like the Robotic Mitral Valve Repair and percutaneous approaches to primary and secondary mitral regurgitation.
In Session 2, the focus shifts to Structural Interventions with the Mitral Valve and Left Atrium. This session will give an in-depth overview of exercise stress testing, strain imaging, and imaging-guided approaches to Mitral Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (TEER). The faculty will cover what new left atrial appendage closure devices can offer and the technical aspects of Valve-in-Valve and Valve-in-Ring procedures.
