This CME teaching activity is structured to provide a clinical perspective of PET and PET/CT imaging. Basic to advanced applications of PET and PET/CT are put in the context of disease detection and treatment planning. In addition, an introduction to the indications and applications of theranostics will round out the program. Describe the clinical indications of theranostic diagnostic and treatment protocols.
Differentiate normal variants and urgent findings on PET/CT.
Discuss the utility of PET/CT when used to evaluate melanoma, lymphoma, breast cancers and dementia.
